The Incredible Life Formula

Our coaching revolves around five core principles, which provide a framework for building the life and business of your dreams. These principles, as you will see, are flexible, timeless, and they work.

Influence

The first principle is Influence, which is what gives you power.

There are many aspects to this first principle but at the core is the belief that you must be able to influence yourself in order to create your ultimate life. If you have a victim mentality and believe that it's the world that affects you then you are giving away your power to act.

In order to build and maintain your success you must constantly seek to raise your awareness because successful people know themselves, what they want, and where they are going. This doesn't mean they are always driven and single minded, although this can be useful at times, but it does mean they are anchored from within by being clear about what's important to them. By knowing your values and building your life around them you put in place the foundation to help you stay centred and solid in this ever changing world.

Once you are clear about your values, you can create your life's vision so you live your life with a true sense of purpose. Having your vision allows you to set yourself meaningful goals, as points in the future to aim for, which help to provide you with the focus and energy to live to your fullest potential.

Part of this principle of influence is what we call Personal Management Systems. There are many tools you can learn and employ to help you manage yourself and your environment more effectively.

The way you run your own mind, for example, is critical to the quality of life you experience. It's not what happens to you in life but how you deal with it that's important. Success doesn't mean a lack of challenges or problems; it means you have the confidence, mindset, and ability to be problem and solution centred rather than reacting in un-resourceful ways when you encounter something unexpected. The development of psychological systems such as Neuro-Lingustic Programming gives you access to tools that can make a significant difference to your quality of life.

We offer you our belief that to grow your business you must also grow yourself. By challenging yourself to grow you will find and experience new levels of peace and fulfilment far beyond your ability to just manifest more material rewards into your life.

The second principle is systems , which are what give you momentum and make your life easier.

One of the challenges that many business owners face is that of constantly re-inventing the wheel. Businesses create sustainable growth because they become systemised, whilst it's a lack of systems or ineffective systems that stunt growth and drain profits.

By focusing on creating better and better systems you build momentum. What you also begin to gain is predictability, which is what gives you the confidence to invest in the future. When a system is working well you can simply repeat the process to gain the same result.

We focus you on six core systems within your business:

Planning

Being productive owes much to good planning. We help you to create a powerful ‘One Page Business Plan' and then provide coaching and support to implement your plan. Planning your time is about deciding what's most important both long and short term and creating the right balance between these activities.

Marketing

We believe in the principle of ‘ attraction ', meaning that rather than constantly pushing for success you set up your business to become attractive to your target market.

Sales

Your sales system goes hand in hand with your marketing system and is what enables you to convert interest into paying business.

Information

There is a saying in business ‘what you measure you can manage'. When you have knowledge about what's going on within your business you can leverage what's working and reduce and eliminate what's not.

Financial

One of the purposes of being in business is to make a profit . By creating the correct financial systems you can sensibly manage your finances and avoid lurching from one financial crisis to the next.

The experience

Good business is about creating strong and lasting relationships with your customers and everyone that comes into contact with your business. Serving people well is about providing them with a memorable experience.

By systemising all these areas you begin to create a sustainable business. It will never be ‘finished' because the outside world is constantly changing but what the right systems will do is give you both the results you desire and confidence in the future.

The third principle is team , which is concerned with you building a winning team around you.

One of the keys to your success is your people. No one does it alone and in order for you to perform at your best you need to build the right support team. All of us have certain natural gifts and talents and life gets incredible when you build your activities around doing what you're naturally good at.

There are two aspects to building your team that we encourage you to focus on. The first is your business support team, which is what we call your tactical team. These are the people who carry out all the necessary functions of your business and allow you to do what you're good at. Also, they will protect you from the many potential distractions that are a natural consequence of being in business. An ongoing process will be to continually define and refine your role. Many people create ‘to do' lists but for the process of delegation we encourage you to create a ‘not to do' list. This means a continual process of delegation and good communication between you and your team.

The second aspect of your team is your strategic team. These are the coaches, mentors and advisers that you pick to help you continually learn, evolve and achieve your objectives.

Think of the sports world. Top players and teams use all manner of people to help them keep their game at its best. Why should you be any different? Surround yourself with people whose job it is to keep you focused, productive, and consistent.

The fourth principle is environments, which is all about giving you and your people space and creating environments that make it easy to succeed.

The principle of Influence is very much about your own inner world but to create an incredible life it's also about building your outer world because your external environments will influence you.

If your environment has factors that drain energy this will prevent you and your business from reaching its fullest potential. As an entrepreneur and a business leader one of your key skills is to managing change and innovate. Part of this process is creating the right environments to operate in.

There are four areas of focus coming under what we call environments

Physical

Your physical environments can either give you energy or take it away. Imagine creating the perfect working and living environments. Places where you feel energised, creative and enjoy being.

Culture

The culture within your organisation will make a huge difference to the quality of your business. Is your business one where change is part of the culture and embraced as something to welcome or are people stuck in the past and afraid of change and what it means?

Social

The social aspect of work is important for many people and human beings need a sense of belonging. People meet this need in different and varying ways but it's about creating choice and recognising that it's part of the overall environment.

Creative

Good business ideas come from allowing people to be creative. Building an environment that encourages and fosters creativity will help you, your people, and your business to grow.

Your environments are something you have influence over and can control. This is important because the motivation to engage in the right kind of behaviour is heavily influenced by the features of the environment.

The fifth and final principle is self-care , which is about looking after yourself. True success is not being successful in one area of your life at the expense of others. It's not much good building a great business if in doing so it's cost you your marriage or your health, for example. We draw your attention to three areas within this principle.

The first is life balance. In top sports coach Frank Dick's book ‘Winning' he says “My first yardstick of a stylish winner is someone who not only tops the mountain in their chosen field, but does so while enjoying a life beyond this field.”. We use a model of nine key life areas and encourage you to create a healthy balance between all of them. Your attention to creating a whole life is what will move you experiencing deep joy and fulfilment.”. We use a model of nine key life areas and encourage you to create a healthy balance between all of them. Your attention to creating a whole life is what will move you experiencing deep joy and fulfilment.

The second area is that of well-being. Well-being is our natural human state but it seems that relatively few people enjoy it. Modern living, diet, and environmental factors contribute to us moving away from this natural state. If you want the best from life you need energy but you can only experience enough energy to accomplish all you want if you treat yourself in the right way.

The third area is relationships. Our closest relationships are the most important area of our lives yet it can be so easy to take the ones we love for granted. We’re not relationship coaches but we do believe that if you are not fulfilled in this area of your life it will affect all the others.
